Adult : Residential
The Adult Residential Service has been operating since 1990 in the Beckenham / Somerfield area. It
offers support for 22 clients assessed as requiring Level 3 to 5 service. Flatting options of living with 3-4 others, or single flats are available
Intake Houses with Staff on site: 28 and 30 Aylmer Street (9 beds),
Provide a welcoming and supervised environment for newcomers to our service. The staff team are based on site, enabling 24 hour supervision, medication monitoring and crisis response. A thorough assessment of client needs occurs, providing effective liaison with Case Managers from Specialist Mental Health Services.
Graduate Houses/flats: Properties in Barrington, Palatine and Carey Streets (13 beds)
Offer options to live more independently while still retaining continued support from the staff team and service community. The residences are visited by staff three times each day.
Daily Structure: All clients are offered the option of a weekday programme if they have no other activities in their day. The programme offers varied activities from physical and outdoor pursuits, through to communication and relational skills. This contributes to the philosophy of supporting clients to achieve a meaningful daily structure and gives opportunities for personal growth and confidence.
