About Us
Stepping Stone Trust belongs to the Spreydon Baptist Church group of community ministries. The Trust is contracted by the Canterbury District Health Board to provide Residential Care, Respite Care, Community Support and Mobile Medication services for individuals and families who experience mental health. We accept people referred from specialist mental health services. A needs assessment may be required to access our services.
Our mission is to offer hope and a Stepping Stone in life. Stepping Stone Trust is a community working towards recovery for those experiencing mental illness. Our Christian-based staff draw upon their professional and practical training to offer a premium-level service. We believe that everyone who uses our service will be treated with respect and dignity. Offering hope for people in their journey of recovery is core to the beliefs and understanding of the work we do. We are committed to an ongoing partnership with people, their families and the community in the provision of a holistic service that has quality outcomes.
